Rule 107
Procedure for consulting the Public Service Commission
Before ordering a departmental punishment to an employee, the officer authorized to order punishment in accordance with section 83 of the Act, when sent in writing for the purpose of consultation with the Public Service Commission, evaluates the clarifications, explanations and supporting evidence presented in this regard, and the departmental punishment sought to be decided on that basis. It should also be proposed and sent with all relevant documents attached.
